Measles Attack at Sitakunda In first week of July 2017, measles attack happen in Tripurapara of Sitakunda Upazila, Chittagong After the attack, a total of 10 children of the Tripura Para died of measles A two member team from Bureau of Health Education visited the affected area on August 6, 2016 The team tried to identify the BCC need of the community
Measles Attack at Sitakunda Major Visit findings The community consists of 85 households Earlier no School or Community Clinic exist on that area Community lead by a Headman and obey his rules in all aspects (education, economy, health, nutrition etc) They prefer to stay isolated and usually keep them away from other communities Presently, there is a EPI Camp and a Community Clinic established
