Grading Policies – H Algebra II Unit 1 Quadratics Revisited 5% Unit 2 Operations with Polynomials, Inverses, and Compositions 8% Unit 3 Logarithms and Exponentials   10% Unit 4A Polynomial Functions (Part A: Graphical Relationships) Unit 4B Polynomial Functions (Part B: Solving) Unit 5A Rational Relationships 12% Unit 5B Radical and Piecewise Relationships Unit 6 Inferences and Conclusions from Data Midterm Projects/Tasks Final 15%

Grade Repair Opportunities – H Algebra II Weekly collaboration sessions on Tuesday afternoons from 3:30-4:30 Students can work on homework, ask questions, and review tests Optional assignments after each unit through unit 4B that are worth 30 points each – no optional assignments after the midterm 1 retest opportunity after the midterm for a unit from 1-4B in which the student completed at least 90% of the homework If a student earns an A in the class, it’s because they did A-level work ALL SEMESTER LONG.

Grading Policies – Algebra II Unit-Based Standards 72% Homework 8% Cumulative Final Exam (Teacher-written, not EOC) 20% TOTAL 100%

Algebra II Policies Weekly collaboration sessions on Tuesday afternoons from 3:30-4:30 Students can work on homework, ask questions, and review tests Tests are worth 80-90% of each unit grade. Goal to move onto Pre-Calculus and maybe AP Statistics, AP Calculus AB, or Honors Calculus
