POSITIVE COACHING SCOTLAND SETTING RESPONSIBILITIES Being a member of a club or team presents an opportunity to teach young people a number of different life skills – these may not necessarily be directly related to the sport.   By allocating different responsibilities, young people have an opportunity to develop skills that will benefit them throughout their lives. Young people can be allocated different responsibilities that include: Welcoming officials/visiting teams Tidying changing facilities Filling water bottles By allocating different roles this teaches young people that they all have a role to play in the running of the club.
