POSITIVE COACHING SCOTLAND THE SUCCESS ICEBERG Positive parents teach their children that development as an athlete, and as a person requires a lot of unseen work – much like an iceberg. Take some time to discuss the success iceberg with your child – explain to them that every successful athlete goes through tough times where they make mistakes and suffer disappointment, however the important message is that they develop attributes such as resilience, dedication and persistence – important skills that will develop them as athletes, but also as people.   Rate this tool! Give us your feedback.
