Status of Frequency Allocation for the BAN(Korean Regulation) YangMoon Yoon and SungHyup Lee KORPA (Korea Radio Promotion Agency) I have pleasure to introduce myself. My name is SungHyup Lee, I’m Senior Engineer at KORPA. I will talk about “Medium Access Control (MAC) requirements for the BAN.”

Purpose and Contents Contents This document presents Korean Status of Frequency allocation for the BAN. Contents Status of International Frequency Allocation Frequency Standards for the MICS Frequency Standards for the UWB Summary of Frequency Standards. This document presents the MAC requirements for the BAN The contents of my presentation consist of 6 parts. First, I introduce the outline of MAC protocol for BAN. Second, I explain MAC issues on 802.15 BAN. Third, I mention the relationship between BAN and WPAN Fourth, I give an overview of MAC for WPAN. And then, I introduce the Intra / Inter body communications. Finally, I focus on the consideration of MAC protocol for the BAN. Submission 3
