Half Reactions

Half Reactions Show the exchange of electrons during a single replacement reaction.

How to determine half reactions Write a balance chemical equation. Determine the solubility of the reaction. Break all aqueous compounds into ions. Cancel out spectator ions. Rewrite the equation (NIE). Write two ½ reactions, one for each element remaining.
