Plans for LHC computing in Spain Not much going on in the institutes involved in LHCb (Barcelona and Santiago) Recently created working group with representatives of several experimental groups: (IFAE, Santander, Valencia and Madrid) Aim: Create two Tier2 centers for ATLAS and CMS computing. LHCb would have to be integrated in one of them. No funding for it yet. Very preliminary. Collaboration with some computing departments in Barcelona (investigating CONDOR) and Santander (GLOBUS) GRID proposal: IFAE signed as assistant contractor (to CNRS) If approved will work in the testbed part of the proposal
