Purpose I want to share this information with anyone interested in learning how to communicate in Spanish. The information in this presentation is designed to help you understand Spanish language in how to read, write, and speak. Everything here is important to your success and will get you prepared for Spanish basics. Use the content here by applying it to your journey in mastering the language.

Vowels (Vocales) Aa Ee Ii Oo Uu Yy

A a Vowels (Vocales) The (a) in “happy” The (a) in “ate” Examples: La pintura (the paint) La casa (the house) La manzana (the apple) Espana (Spain) America

Ee Vowels (Vocales) Has 2 sounds: The (e) in noche (night) The (e) in happiness Examples: Pariente (relative) Verde (green) El padre (the father) El hueso (the bone) Hotel (the hotel) La cabeza (the head)

Ii Vowels (Vocales) The (i) in minerals Examples: La cobija (the blanket) El diente ( the teeth) El patio ( the patio) La cintura ( the waist) La pierna ( the leg)

Oo Vowels (Vocales) Has 2 sounds: the o in awesome the o in for if followed by r Examples: La mano (the hand) Tiempo (time) La radio (the radio) El televisor (the television) Profesor (Professor) El compresor (the compressor)

Uu Vowels (Vocales) The u in rule Written as ü when pronounced in güe and güi Silent is gue and gui elsewhere Examples: Güero Agüero Güira Guerrero Guitarra

Yy Vowels (Vocales) Sounds like (i) Spanish way Examples: Y (i) …eiii… Yo soy ( I am) Hay (there) Mayo (may)

Why is this important? This is important because many people start a new language and have no idea of how to get started. It is important to know the basics of vowels, pronunciation, spelling, grammar, and reading. By learning the basics of Spanish, you will be able to grasp quicker and begin your skill set.

Important Studying Spanish requires a lot of time to learn and understand it’s usage. Continue learning Spanish and apply everything you learn to your future plans. Your journey to Spanish has began and you have to be dedicated. Put in time and go all the way in by staying focused on the learning perspective.
