Starter #1: Today’s Agenda is . . . Review main developments in Chapter 5 Introduce Wrinkle Vocab, Chapter 6 Begin reading Wrinkle Chapter 6

Starter #2: Yesterday we finished reading Wrinkle Chapter 5. Let’s review key points and new developments from that reading. [Introduce Wrinkle Vocab, Chapter 6]

Today’s Goal: We will begin reading and discussing Wrinkle Ch 6. Outcomes: Describe what happens to stars that battle the Dark Thing. Explain what the children learned about Mrs. Whatsit. Name three things the Happy Medium showed (revealed to) the children. Cite the name of the planet where Mr. Murry is. List each of the three gifts given to the children by Mrs. Whatsit. Indicate the specific gift Mrs. Who gave to Meg to use as a last resort. Name the two character traits Mrs. Whatsit warned Charles Wallace to beware of. Identify who said, “Only a fool is not afraid” and to whom that statement was directed.
