Stay with us Lord Lk 24: 13-49

The journey of the disciples of Emmaus

The disciples are discouraged

They are sad and disappointed

While they are discussing together, Jesus himself draws near and goes on with them...

Our spiritual life is a journey

We are called to move on to change our attitudes, to change our values.

Jesus begins talking with them to open their minds to a new way of looking at Scripture

We need somebody to walk with us.

Communion and trust are gradually built…

Conversation becomes communication

They take the light of Easter Sunday back into the darkness of Good Friday

They invited him to him to stay with them
