Charge for CSPEC Detector Construction Workshop Shane Kennedy Neutron Scattering Systems Project Leader www.europeanspallationsource.se 18 January 2019

Purpose of the workshop to agree on the performance requirements for the CSPEC detector. establish a project plan for construction that delivers the scope, within budget and on schedule and define roles and responsibilities for the delivery team

Charge for the workshop Are the requirements for the detector complete, clear and achievable, and do they match the approved CSPEC project scope? Does the proposed detector solution (including front-end readout system) meet the requirements? Can the detector be delivered on time and on budget, without need for further development work? If not, what further development is required? Is the project plan mature enough to launch the construction project? i.e. are all tasks identified and integrated into a project plan: with critical dependencies and milestones? Are all resources identified in the plan and are they readily available? If not, what additional resources are required? Do all key personnel in the delivery team understand their role and responsibilities, and do they have what they need to deliver their part of the construction?
