Prayer Focus: North Springfield Baptist Church The church is in the northern suburbs of Chelmsford, the closest evangelical church to twelve thousand people. The Minister is Revd Peter Thomas. The church has grown to 50 adults and 20 children and is active in the community through its two toddler groups, a weekly drop-in and its weekly Haven Cafe, from which an enquirers group has developed resulting in a number of new Christians. The church also reaches its community through its website, an outward-reaching newspaper, Haven News, and family fun events.
