Week 1 Death and Glory
In the span of just one week—Holy Week—we see momentous pictures of God’s love.
God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16 ESV
Watch the flow of blood. It was poured out for you. Now, go! Tell your story!
Week 2 Prepare and Watch
Prepare? Watch? How does God want us to do it?
Watch and you will see. The foolishly fragrant, wonderfully wasteful love of God is at work in your life!
Week 3 Guilt and Innocence
On our own, our hearts are set for evil and sin rules.
We see the heart of God in Jesus. Our Savior lived a perfect life and died a miserable death to make the promise of God’s love come true.
A new heart: I praise God! I walk in God’s ways! I will see God!
Punishment and Freedom Week 4 Punishment and Freedom
Where do you run to? What do you run from? Where do you try to hide?
You will all fall away, for it is written, “I will strike the shepherd, and the sheep will be scattered.” Mark 14:27 ESV
Rise and follow Jesus today! Jesus takes our punishment and restores the freedom of being a child of God. Rise and follow Jesus today!
Week 5 Pain and Victory
Imagine the pain of crucifixion. Was Jesus a liar or a Savior?
What pain distracts you? What pain helps you focus?
My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. 2 Corinthians 12:9 ESV
Week 6 Lamb and King
The Lamb. The King. How could this ever fit together?
We see Jesus’ power directly in the midst of suffering. The King rules with a dying love.
We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed. 2 Corinthians 4:8–9 ESV
