Nuts and bolts of Resurrection You should desire, even long to be with Jesus

This is the way it is… [John 3:19 NIV] 19 This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil.

[John 3:21 NIV] 21 But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God.

There are light lovers and darkness lovers According to Jesus why it this “the way it is…”

[2 Corinthians 3:13 NIV] 13 We are not like Moses, who would put a veil over his face to prevent the Israelites from seeing the end of what was passing away.

[ 2Corintians 4:4-5 NIV] 4 The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. 5 For what we preach is not ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus' sake.

[2 Corinthians 4:6 NIV] 6 For God, who said, "Let light shine out of darkness," made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of God's glory displayed in the face of Christ.

This is the Xtian challenge This is You You live here

So… [2 Corinthians 4:18 NIV] 18 So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

[2 Corintians 5:1-2 NIV] 1 For we know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, an eternal house in heaven, not built by human hands. 2 Meanwhile we groan, longing to be clothed instead with our heavenly dwelling,

[2Corinthians 5:4 NIV] 4 For while we are in this tent, we groan and are burdened, because we do not wish to be unclothed but to be clothed instead with our heavenly dwelling, so that what is mortal may be swallowed up by life.

Are you sure it must be this way? [2Cor 5:5-6 NIV] 5 Now the one who has fashioned us for this very purpose is God, who has given us the Spirit as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come. 6 Therefore we are always confident and know that as long as we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord.

How is this Restore, this Resurrection going to work? God says… [2Cor 5:7-8 NIV] 7 For we live by faith, not by sight. [2Corinthians 12:4 NIV] 4 A man (Probably Paul of himself) was caught up to paradise and heard inexpressible things, things that no one is permitted to tell.

[2Cor 5:8-9 NIV] 8 We are confident, I say, and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord. 9 So we make it our goal to please him, whether we are at home in the body or away from it.

From a cross to a pleasant place [Luke 23:43 NIV] 43 Jesus answered him, "Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise."

Just based on being a Christian we want out! [Revelation 2:7 NIV] 7 Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who is victorious, I will give the right to eat from the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God.

[2 Peter 1:1-2 NIV] 1 Simon Peter, a servant and apostle of Jesus Christ, To those who through the righteousness of our God and Savior Jesus Christ have received a faith as precious as ours: 2 Grace and peace be yours in abundance through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord.

[2 Peter 1:3-4 NIV] 3 His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. 4 Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature, having escaped the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.

[2Peter 1:5-7 NIV] 5 For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; 6 and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; 7 and to godliness, mutual affection; and to mutual affection, love.

[2 Peter 1:8-9 NIV] 8 For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 But whoever does not have them is nearsighted and blind, forgetting that they have been cleansed from their past sins.

[2Peter 1:10-11 NIV] 10 Therefore, my brothers and sisters, make every effort to confirm your calling and election. For if you do these things, you will never stumble, 11 and you will receive a rich welcome into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
