POSITIVE COACHING SCOTLAND ACHIEVEMENT AWARDS Rewarding young people for their effort, regardless of the result is an excellent way of telling them that whilst the outcome may not have been successful, their effort was appreciated. Regardless of the result coaches can give awards for: Toughness – the athlete that has been determined to achieve success Glue – the athlete that did their job well and kept the team held together Skill - highlight athletes that have improved skill Courage – the athlete that has shown the most courage These are just some examples of achievement awards, you may wish to develop some of your own   Rate this tool!
