Presentation transcript:

We Give Thanks to God for you and your support Synod’s Congregations If you are new to synod assemblies….and our synod. The word means to be on the road together….this is our synod parts of 33 counties, 29 full counties. 246 congregations. 2 under development and one new exploration about to begin.

When Leadership Formation and Support Gatherings Happen You synod is in the leadership business. Your synod is full of lay and rostered leaders God has called to serve. We are never done being formed by Christ.

When the Planning Team for the 2016 Equipping Congregations Day meets 2/20/2016 One of the sweet things God has been up to in our synod has been our Equipping Day….we don’t use the word “leader” because it scares people. God’s church depends on the leadership of God’s people. We seek to equip leaders.

Your Deans Caring and Convening Conferences Our synod has been organized geographically……with Deans and Conference Chairs convening and caring for the congregations, mission and leaders. Caring and Convening Conferences
