HOUSING SUPPORT WORKER (DOOR STEPS) Full time 37 hours per week Caritas Diocese of Salford is an established leading provider of high quality social care for children, families and adults who are vulnerable. The charity encompasses the work of Catholic Children’s Rescue Society and Catholic Welfare Societies. HOUSING SUPPORT WORKER (DOOR STEPS) Full time 37 hours per week Fixed Point SCP21 £20,541 per annum Fixed Term Contract until 30/12/2020 FLEXIBLE LOCATION, HULME, BURY, COLLYHURST Essential Car User Allowance if car driver Caritas are recruiting for an exciting new project working to address homelessness in the Greater Manchester area. This role will be working in community settings and dispersed housing with people who are homeless, at risk of homelessness, or who are struggling to maintain their current tenancy. The role also involves general advice and support work at our community centre.   If you have a background in housing work, support work, homeless services or working with adults who are vulnerable, we would like to hear from you. An ideal candidate will be warm, empathic and resilient, with some understanding of mental health, addiction, poverty and social isolation.
