Outlook: Current Year Activities - 2008 EU sponsored “CERTIFIED TRANS-NATIONAL TT MANAGER" - Building up a framework to qualify TT- Managers on a trans-national level and with mutual recognition" Christi Mitchell is our representative – and one of our links to USA-Canada certification development plan Offerings: Fundamentals - Britain & Ireland – England, April 2008 Scheduled for India, July 2008 Columbia, September 2008 National Licensing Course, Germany, Modules I, II, III, IV – February, April, September, November Awareness and licensing course – India, January 2008 Licensing of IP Media – Russia – June 2008 International Symposium – Japan – January 2008

Outlook: End of Year Activities - 2007 Tech Transfer Course, Switzerland, October 2007 Licensing Course, Japan, November 2007 Stephanie Silverstein conducted a survey of all societies, asking for their educational offers. The complete list for 2007 and 2008 will be posted on the website and includes a list of many of the meetings Open question today about how we can encourage More educational offers – e.g., Britain and Ireland’s success Stronger responses to request for information

New Course Offered: 1-day Licensed from LES South Africa; will require sub-licenses Used multiple times there to build demand for Fundamentals Offered in Hong Kong in January 2008 – Yvonne Chua was successful in attracting 70 attendees Ideal for newer societies – and Chapters in USA-Canada will offer it Will now be added to course offers only on the condition that a prospective instructor attends a 2-day train-the-trainer course Attending TTT also will also qualify in part for teaching Fundamentals (instructors have to attend a Fundamentals course before teaching) Chicago – May 9-10 – expect between 16-20 attendees Paris – September 24-25

Miscellaneous Stephanie Silverstein maintains the list of qualified instructors We have had a few telecons but they are difficult to schedule for the range of time zones; we will continue them Lessons learned: sustained commitment to Education tends to strengthen the membership base and broaden it towards more business-commercial members We are having a co-committee meeting with USA-Canada Education Committee on Monday, May 8
