Kitchens’ & Foreman’s Weekly News April 1-5, 2019   Please be sure you are reading each night for at least 35 minutes. We will be preparing for state testing over the next two weeks. Our kids have worked very hard this year and are ready to show what they know!  Congrats to Dakota Paradis for making his AR goal for 4th nine weeks, already! Wow! ELA​ We will begin our unit on Greek Mythology. We will also review skills and work on test-taking strategies. Skills: main idea, inferencing, text structures, text features, character traits, central message, and context clues. Math We will conclude our study of polygons and begin practicing solving problems involving perimeter and area. Fluency review quiz will be given Wednesday over facts 0-10. Polygon/area assessment will tentatively be given on Friday. Important Dates April 12th- Fun Run April 16th- ELA state test #1 April 18th- ELA state test #2 April 19th- No School Good Friday April 22- No school Easter Holiday April 30th- Math state test #1 May 3- Math state test #2 I will choose to GROW!
