You’ve all seen it, my Yahoo, my UCLA, my Netscape, or whatever. This will be “my E-learning Indiana” or something like that. The idea being that when you boot up your computer in the morning, it will have quick and customizable access to what you want. If I’m a K12 student, it’s going to have my classes, connection to homework access points, a schedule if I want to put it in there, my calendar, etc. If I’m an adult learner and let’s say I have a particular interest in Masterpiece Theatre and let’s not just say Masterpiece Theatre, but Inspector Morse portions of Masterpiece Theatre, I can request that public broadcasting schedule connect my calendar and send me an email message so that when Inspector Morse is going to be on Masterpiece Theatre next Sunday night, I’ll get a message during that week. That kind of customization will make it my place to come each day.
