In chronic cases, long-leg radiographs are recommended to evaluate alignment. In chronic cases, long-leg radiographs are recommended to evaluate alignment. Patients with chronic PLC injuries and varus malalignment should be treated with an osteotomy to correct mal-alignment prior to PLC reconstruction. Untreated mal-alignment will likely cause the grafts to stretch over time and fail. PLC: posterolateral corner. Gilbert Moatshe et al. J ISAKOS doi:10.1136/jisakos-2016-000072 Copyright © ISAKOS.
