Foreign Policy Debate !!!RULES!!! !!! What you will be doing!!! Groups up to 4. You may use the laptops and your exit tickets. You will have the laptops for the debates as well, but DO NOT create a PowerPoint, unless you absolutely want to have an image to show your opinion. You may look up information in articles, blogs and videos. Make sure when you are watching videos, you have headphones. – Keep one ear open for my directions. Do not go on any inappropriate site – if you have a question about a site, just ask me. If you goof off, you will loose your computer privilege, and you will loose your participation points. !!! What you will be doing!!! Monday – Tuesday- debate prep. 10 points each, if you are not working, or goofing off, you will loose the points for that day. Wednesday -Thursday – Friday -the debates. 20 points each. You must, as American leaders, create a policy on the following countries. How are you going to handle them? North Korea, China, Russia, Iran, Israel, and Venezuela. Helping allies – like N.A.T.O. Wednesday: You get to tell the class your policies without interruption. 3 minutes to present. Class gets to ask Clarifying questions. Thursday: Finish any policies, begin ALL OUT DEBATE. Try and win the argument. Friday continue all out debate. At the end, we will vote to see which group has the best policy.
