1 Cor 13:12 “12 For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I have been fully known.”

Make disciples of Jesus everywhere you go. Our primary function on earth.

Jesus “I’ll be with you every day until the end of eternity!”

1 Kings 1:5-6 “5 Now Adonijah the son of Haggith exalted himself, saying, “I will be king.” And he prepared for himself chariots and horsemen, and fifty men to run before him. 6 His father had never at any time displeased him by asking, “Why have you done thus and so?” He was also a very handsome man, and he was born next after Absalom.”

We are usually blind to the things God uses to shape our character

2. We don’t like conflict

Discipline forces character out of you.

Hebrews 12:11 “11 For the moment all discipline seems painful rather than pleasant, but later it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.”

To make disciples of Jesus you must be one!

John 8:31 “31 Jesus said to the people who believed in him, “You are truly my disciples if you remain faithful to my teachings.”

The destiny of the disciple: Philippians 3:20-21 (MSG) “But there’s far more to life for us. We’re citizens of high heaven! We’re waiting the arrival of the Savior, the Master, Jesus Christ, who will transform our earthy bodies into glorious bodies like his own. He will make us beautiful and whole with the same powerful skill by which he is putting everything as it should be, under and around him.”
