Parent Acknowledgment All assigned HW will be written in you child’s Agenda in addition to being available on the LTS website (STUDENTS tab on the top bar, then choose the grade level and class). My name is Ms. Taghon, and I am your child’s Social Studies teacher for Quarters 2 & 4 of the 2017 – 2018 school year. I have been a resident of Arizona for over 25 years. In 2010 I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and subbed in HUSD for several years before I joined the team at LTS. My ELA background ensures that, whatever the subject, there will always be an emphasis on language and writing in my classroom. I love teaching, crafts, and immersing myself in an eclectic array of books and movies to better prepare myself for my annual adventure to the Phoenix Comicon. I currently reside with a fellow bookworm, two loving canines, and two tarantulas. Please feel free to contact me at the school with any questions or concerns you may have as the year progresses. I look forward to a great year! Parent Acknowledgment I have read and understood Ms. Taghon’s 5th grade Social Studies class information and expectations.
