ESSAY e) published in proceedings after a scientific gathering where its was presented orally; includes a fixed review schedule 5. ANNOTATION f) has various purposes, e.g. to describe, compare, contrast, persuade (for or against sth), defend, etc.  A thesis is a compilation of research that proves you are knowledgeable about the information learn throughout your graduate program.
