2006 Program Review for the Biology Department

Program Review Findings Over the last 5 years our department has indeed EVOLVED! Evolution involves: taking risks changing experimenting reviewing and modifying Load analysis confirms that the Biology program has experienced significant growth in the last five years. Biology WSCH has increased 33.0% (12696 vs. 9543), whereas the Biology FTE increased only 21.9% (26.25 vs. 20.483). The Biology department is producing more WSCH per FTE.
Program Review Findings The Biology program success rate is roughly similar to the ARC success rate.
Program Review Findings The overall success rate of 84.5% for Science Skills students compared to 60.3% for non-Science Skills students is quite remarkable.
