Playing games to learn is one of the best ways to get students excited about learning. Thank you for making words fun. Speaking of games, I am trying out a phonics game site called Teach Your Monster to read. What Are We Learning Reading - Next week (October) We will review the letters A - V. Students need to identify the letter and the sound. New letters will be W, X, Y, Z. We will identify characteristics and find important details. Sight words so far: a, am, and, can, funny,go I, little, see, the Writing - We will practice printing names and letters and word wall words. Journal writing using sounds that can be heard. Counting 1 - 10. READING AT HOME Reading with your child at home is the most impactful activity that you can do. Make it fun. Ask them what words or letters they already know.
