University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine 2018 Pitt-Med Research Experience for Pre-matriculants (PREP) The goal of the PREP program is to provide highly motivated students who are admitted to the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine with an accelerated research experience prior to matriculating into medical school. The program will run for 8 weeks prior to the start of orientation with flexible start and stop dates approved by the faculty mentor and program directors. A stipend of $3,000 will be provided. Qualified applicants who have identified a mentor within the University of Pittsburgh Schools of Health Sciences will be eligible to apply. Application instructions will be available at: scholarlyproject.medschool.pitt.edu and applications accepted from February 1st through April 1st 2018. Funding decisions will be made by April 15th.
