Participants and Tests Abstract Information Participants and Tests 295 students in Puerto Rico. 2 x2 ANOVA Chi-Square Tests Factor Analysis of “Safety”

Literature Review Developing safe schools is an important tasks in our society. Safety Perceptions Males display more behavior problems than females. Gender and suspension status. Student from lower SES families display more behavior problems. Family income and suspension status.

Results/Conclusion Significant Difference Sus= agree F(1,241=5.268, p=.023) A Significant Difference Sus=Gender X²(1, N = 242) =7.238, p = .007. Students from lower SES are more likely to get suspended. X²(2, N = 94) = 4.676, p = .096
