In 2013, citizen voted to spend almost 60 million dollars to renovate existing or replace libraries that were too small. And we knew we had an opportunity to reimagine and align our spaces, staff, events and programs would serve as a catalyst for bringing the community together. We had a grand opportunity acting like places to warehouse books and a place that was about bringing light, increasing understanding and enabling our communities to see and learn things differently?
