Peace

Jesus is Our Peace Biblical Peace: not the absence of conflict (or ignoring it), but the presence of wholeness and completeness; living out life as God intended, in right relationship with God, others, and ourselves.

Jesus is Our Peace - Peace with God - our sins are forgiven (Matt 26:28) - Unselfish love for ourselves (Mark 12:31) - A new love for others (John 13:34 )

Jesus is Our Peace Matt 5-7 (p.736) – Peacemakers (5:9) Light on hill (5:14) Deal with conflict the right way (5:23-24; cf. Mt 18) Revenge, divorce, adultery and loving your enemies Don’t judge others, but do the work on yourself first (7:1ff)

I Want God’s Peace, But... ... I don’t deserve His love. And yet - Peace begins with God. Romans 5:1-2 ... I could never forgive ... And yet - I can forgive others as God has forgiven me. Col 3:13-15 ... she started it. And yet - I can be a peacemaker. James 3:16-18 ... I remember when he ... And yet - We can look for the good in others. Phil 4:8-9 ... it is easier just to not deal with it. And yet - Peacemakers are willing to walk the hard path (with broken hearts). Eph 4:2-3
