Opioid Crisis Working Group A Startup Health tactical group working together to tackle the opioid crisis.

About the Opioid Crisis Working Group What we do Housed at Startup Health, the Opioid Crisis Working Group aims to create end-to-end solutions for the opioid crisis through the OCWG strategic plan, which includes: Prevention and Treatment enhancements Use of medication-assisted treatment (MAT) Aftercare solutions which include pain management alternatives. Structure The OCWG structure includes its member partners – WellBrain, inRecovery, Sen-Jam, Personal Remedies, Cloud9, Hey, Charlie! - as well as several support teams and committees. Its internal team receives input from Providers, Payers, Government agencies and community-based organizations to help understand the problem and identify solutions.

What is your biggest barrier to entry: shifting landscape of medical coding – so that physicians and systems feel more comfortable in offering our service.

Our goal is to partner with a Licensee for commercialization. Majority of these health issues can be prevented and treated through dietary and lifestyle changes. Personal Remedies provides fully automated individualized guidance to SUD patients. Product or Service you Provide: Mobile apps, and an open API to an AI-powered expert system. Substance abuse need being addressed by your product or service: Provide dietary guidance to patients recovering from SUD and/or at risk with likely nutrient deficiencies and comorbidities. inRecovery In-patient Out-patient Pre-Exposure Exposure Addiction Withdrawal Overdose Relapse Identify your Continuum of Care Who are your Clients: Providers, Wellness/Health IT vendors, and consumers Who purchases your products or services: Same as above/our clients.
