PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE PRACTITIONERS Excellence in Power, gas, water & Renewables

Enzen – Positively changing the Energy and Water industry Locations Revenue Growth Employees Customers Story Point – Why can customers have confidence in us?. Globally: 25+ Compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 75% since inception Globally: 3,500+ Globally: 155+ 100% customer retention, single sector focus, global experience spanning 7 geographies.

Hydrogen Developments in Australia & around the world Tokyo has the Hydrogen Olympics next year and will be showcasing many new applications Power2Gas projects are world wide but Australia can lead due to abundant solar resources CSIRO have developed a membrane to extract hydrogen from ammonia Electrolysers can now be more than 80% efficient. Fuel Cells are now viable and car manufacturers are releasing production models. Hydrogen trucks and buses are likely to be in service by end 2020 ALP are proposing to spend $1B on increasing hydrogen for local consumption and export

Enzen Provids Intelligence and Insight at scale... Assets Operations Spatial Data Big Data

Geo-locate Electrolyser sites using Enzen 3D mapping Locate where points of electrical constraint intersect with gas lines and vehicle filling locations. Modular design of smallest energy station to suit 500kW transformer which can be stacked up to 5MW. Power2Gas as minimum provision for storage with options for: H2 filling station EV Fast charge Batteries Fuel Cell Generator

Hydrogen – Use case for local hydrogen There is huge untapped potential in Australia for Power2gas by converting surplus solar PV and wind energy to hydrogen using electrolysers. By using our existing gas network infrastructure to store hydrogen we are providing a no cost base case for large energy storage. By AGIG and Govt. investing in this storage solution, then half the cost of hydrogen for transport use is covered. The economics of Power2gas can improve if combined with grid management revenues available from stabilising the grid. Enzen has identified customer use cases for increasing the distribution volume with the biggest being residential VPPs (Virtual Power Plants) who need cheap local storage when they don’t want diesel gensets and batteries are too expensive. Enzen would like to partner with organisations to enhance the commercial, residential, council, and transport use of hydrogen.

Mines currently using gas are potential sites for Hydrogen

McArthur River Operations Natural Gas is Supporting Glencore Xstrata’s McArthur River mine expansion. Glencore has operated existing the 24MW gas power station since 1995 The expansion programme has doubled the mine’s capacity to 68MW of power The new 53MW Wärtsilä engine can take up to 30% hydrogen from an 30MW electrolyser from a 50MW solar farm

Yulara CNG Transport Project for Territory Generation Add electrolyser for blending up to 20% into CNG supply to the gas generators 1MW electrolyser supplied by excess solar from the 1.8MW in the area (red)

AGIG has already invested in local hydrogen in SA The $11.4 million AGIG hydrogen project at Tonsley will trial Power2Gas through Enwave which is part of the Brookfield services group using a 1.25MW Siemens electrolyser In Port Lincoln, AGIG are investing $117m in a Hydrogen Utility (H2U)plant which includes a 30 MW water electrolysis plant, as well as a facility for ammonia production. It will include a 10MW hydrogen-fired gas turbine, fuelled by local wind and solar power, and a 5MW hydrogen fuel cell.

Hydrogen use cases across value chain Challenge Commercial Residential Council Government Transport Mining plants can use hydrogen with CNG or LNG Property developers using grid management electrolysers for managing solar export Council depot H2 refuelling stations CNG bus can use up to 15% hydrogen blend from electrolyser and local solar array. Carbon Neutral city buildings Other manufacturing plants in Top End Local electrolysers for balancing street transformers in VPPs H2 buses are available which can be used for peak electricity generation VPP back up NT Govt. trials of Power2Gas and H2 Ammonia Chilling Plants for food and export industries Local H2 filling stations for fuel cell vehicles added to energy station when cars available Hydrogen school buses more feasibility than EV buses for country areas like Darwin NT mining use Power2 Gas Upgrade of landfill and other waste biogases Increased % of hydrogen for cooking appliances - trials with changing burner jets

Local Hydrogen Power2Gas Strategy Gas Main Grid balancing revenues from the electrolysers make hydrogen viable for Power2Gas

60kW Electrolyser Design for local manufacture This design is capable of load balancing a local street transformer. Designed to be paralleled up to 5MW. Energy station small container format can be packaged with H2 filling and other revenue generating options depending upon site requirements. Future options like batteries and fuel cells are accommodated for in the energy station design. Joint venture or partnership with Govt. funding to achieve <$1/watt production cost

Local Hydrogen Bus Strategy Hydrogen buses can provide backup power at peak demand time. Hydrogen is most suited to school buses which can support local VPPs in times of peak demand. May be applicable to unstable networks like Yulara and Alice Springs

Local CNG Bus Strategy CNG buses can support a 15% hydrogen blend through the existing CNG filling stations.

Darwin Virtual Gas Pipeline Project   Key Capacity Issues: A capacity of 400 tons per day of LNG production is proposed, to be distributed to the wider expanses of the region via road and rail, and in specially constructed ISO Tanks. These ISO tanks can be delivered in customer specified quantities and frequencies, and in tank sizes of either 22,000 litres or 44,000 litre capacity. In a process known as “virtual gas pipeline”. Economic Benefits: $250 million expenditure on the LNG production and distribution facility will generate:  Tendering and supply opportunities to the region;  375 construction positions;  65 Administrative and ongoing operational positions;  Forecast to create approximately 1,000 secondary employment positions. LNG use as a diesel fuel replacement will:  Reduce the operating fuel costs of participating industries by $51 million per annum, which represents fuel cost savings of approximately 25% over their existing fuel costs,  Replace the daily consumption of 560,000 litres of diesel fuel;  Reduce the need to import Diesel fuel by up to $160 million per annum  Assist to reduce regional community living costs by reducing the transport costs component. Environmental Benefits: LNG use as a replacement fuel for Diesel will reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 25%  Heavy vehicles in the road transport sector, (buses and Trucks)  Rail Sector (Passenger and Freight)  Electricity Generation ( Mining sector, Remote Communities)  Mining Sector Machinery and Heavy Haulage Equipment  Combined with up to 20% locally produced Hydrogen from on site electrolysis to reduce costs

Virtual Pipeline 9 • AAB series road trailer combination considered the best option – Greter stability than traditional AAA road trains – Greater pay load (~1.4 TJ) • CNG tanks are 10 ft modular packages with LNG tanks similar to traditional bulk tanker haulage solution from Hexagon-Lincoln
