Community educators HUMAK UNIVERSITY OF APPLIED SCIENCES Community Educator, Bachelor’s degree NGO and youth work, 210 ECTS credits / 3.5 year The programme leads to a vocationally oriented Bachelor-level degree. The programme meets the UAS degree criteria of the Finnish higher education system and complies with the European and National Qualifications Frameworks (Level 6). The programme prepares professionals with expertise in appreciative interaction for NGO and youth work roles and increasingly varied professional settings across a range of sectors. Case Men´s Turn project youth work development project grows from the ”bulb” Students are training in worklife and projects Students need and use all competences from the ”bulb”, when developing and organizing activities Case Men´s Turn- is a good example of projects, where they plan and implement innovative activities for young male ”NEET” Students are organizing the activities Project is organized by Humak and supported by the Ministry of Education and culture
