We are learning about Social Thinking. Our brains are pretty much responsible for everything we say and think about. Our brains are pretty much responsible for everything we say and think about. Pupils to sort cards into social thinking/not social thinking topic Remind that social thinking topics have to do with other people and ourselves. Not facts.

Complete quiz: Thinking about Social Thinking Learning to talk to others is only one part of communicating. You can communicate with your body too. This is called non-verbal communication. The type of thinking your brain is doing to figure yourself and others out is what we call Social Thinking E.g. turning away from someone when you are mad, pointing to something. The more you notice non verbal, the more you learn about people. We don’t always get it right.

Thinking about social thinking & using our social smarts worksheets When we are using our social thinking, we are thinking about others in a situation, how they may be feeling and what they might be thinking.
