Points for this piece Riff can be played in a few ways. Riff is what holds this together – without out it song doesn’t work. You need to moveable chords down to play this piece. Son is on page 49 and 50 in book. 49 is only 3 measures of the introduction. Let’s start with the riff. There are 2 examples of each way to play each example. 1st way is easiest to play 2nd way is better musically. Riff’s are build off of the Mixolydian mode.

Chords For A7, F#7, G#7 use E form of the CAGED. For B, B7, C#7 use the A form of CAGED. For E7 you will use the C form of the CAGED. See next slide.
