Milk alternatives Alternative products A number of people are unable to digest the lactose found in cow’s milk, so have to use alternative products such as soya, rice, almond or oat milks. These products are not ‘real’ milk but are very good milk replacements and are quite nutritious.

Milk alternatives Research Compare the calcium, protein and kcals per 100 ml in the different milk alternatives with standard cow’s milk. Analyse your findings.
