About us Our Goal Our Program Pictured below: Leonardo Hassell, SCS MBO2 2017 Graduate, transitioned from PrO to the MBO Tech Vocational program. Our Goal Our Program The main purpose of PrO is to assist students in getting a job. This program trains the student in his/her area of interest until he or she is ready for the job market. PrO students generally range in ages from 12 to 18 years old. Besides basic academic work and much hands-on training, the students also do Job Shadowing and Internships. PrO is a program that can include many different skill or interest areas for students. The possibilities are not limited. Students will have classes in English, Dutch, Math, Guidance, Social Studies, Science, I.T. and P.E. The practical classes may include: Food Preparation; Technical Science; Gardening; Child Care; Nursing; etc. The possibility is also there for students to be able to transition from the PrO program to the Vocational program after their third year in PrO. Services Students have the opportunity to continue receiving or start receiving extra support from our partner the Expertise Center for Education Care (EC2). EC2 services include: Speech & Language Therapy; Behaviour Coaching; Homework Support; Occupational Therapy; etc. About us PraktijkOnderwijs (PrO) is an educational program that includes some basic academic subjects and a lot more practical or hands-on subjects. PrO caters to each student’s talents and interests. This program allows each student to work in his/her area of interest at his/her level and pace.
