My Inquiry Question Rome Your task in the end is to answer this question: Which ancient society would have been the best to live in? You will form an opinion to this question by exploring these guiding questions: Who had the best 'Daily Life'? Who had the best military? Who treated their women better? Who had the better gods? Who had the best inventions? You may add to this list as you find other aspects of their societies.

Artistic and ‘Hands-on’ elements I will draft out a more specific schedule, but some of the artistic and ‘hands-on’ elements that I would like to include in this unit are: Creation of a piece or pieces of clothing from a specific culture Experimentation with food from that culture Produce a piece of clay artwork that represents something from that culture Several simple Egyptian based pieces of art

My Inquiry answer.. In my opinion, Ancient __________ would have been the better civilization to live in because… Use your opinions from the slides above to write a minimum of 250 words about the differences between the two civilzations and which one you think was better. There will likely be arguments for both sides, however, in the end, which one would rather have grown up and lived in?
