General Assembly Dropout Prevention Grants Final Grants December 2008 – ($9.2 million) 4 additional grants awarded from the 200+ applications from January 2008 35 grants awarded from new applications 37 applications from the original 60 funded programs were approved for continuation grants, one of which was the Edenton-Chowan Life Coach Program Grant Total Grants Awarded 178 (141 + 37 continuation) Total dollar range with the continuation grants included ($9,100 to $300,000) Edenton-Chowan Life Coach Program is one of about ten grant recipients to receive the maximum $300,000 Our grant funds must be spent by August 31, 2010
