This is a clear display of how the narco-culture is affecting all of Mexico. The cartels are now enlisting children and teenagers to commit crimes because of the light charges against juveniles by the government

Mexico has many different cartels, some with clear areas of control and some still fighting for their territory. This battle for territory has only increased the violence throughout Mexico.

A grenade was set off in the hometown of President Calderon by the cartels. Many were killed as slight to the government for attempting to fight back against the cartels.

With several seizures between Mexico, Canada, and the US, over $59 million dollars and thousands of drugs were confiscated from the Sinaloa cartel.
