4 lessons that changed my life.

Family Life - Great! Church Life – Mixed Bag

World by the tail, right? Wrong!

Who do I know who seems to have their “act” together? Grandpa Scott Marie Vollrath Randy Moomaw How do I get , what they got?

My 1st Step My “Jesus take the wheel” talk. Parents gave me my 1st bible!

More at peace. Grades improved. Began meeting new people. Leaned about different churches. Gained more self confidence. Better habits. Better decisions. Became more accepting. Got first internship in that State Up North! Lived with a Pastor. Learned to appreciate family more. Spent more time with them. Started exercising more. Friendships changed & deepened. It’s not all about me! God 1st, others 2nd, I am 3rd. Learned to manage my time better. Became more understanding. Started reading the bible daily. Using my talents to help others. Forgiveness for my sins. Didn’t repeat them. Power of prayer. Quit the SAC. Instead joined University 4H and ……………..

2016 New Year’s Resolutions Take a step of faith. Go on an Emmaus Walk! 3. Pray for Jesus to open and shut doors!

Discovered what it felt like to have a band of brothers Discovered what it felt like to have a band of brothers. It’s ok for Guys to hug. I need to be a better example. We should listen to Christian music – It Rocks! I will start praying with my kids every morning. I will treasure them more. I will encourage my wife more. I will praise my wife around my kids. I will step up my leadership at church. My soccer coaching style changed. I started praying with my soccer team. It’s ok to wear “Jesus” shirts. Started witnessing in my workplace

Lesson Learned You can’t walk on water till you get out of the boat!
