TRUST THE PROCESS BE DEVELOPED AND LEAD

SEASON V WELCOME Prime x Marissa Coleman is an organization that focuses on developing the mind and skills of young athletes. Our number one priority is to help athletes improve their physical and mental abilities in order to reach their full potential on and off the court. Our process is to teach and develop players, while focusing on the lessons that apply to life. Our players will continue their careers prepared for leadership roles; confident and possessing high self esteem. Prime x MC develops the all around-athlete with a “Family First” approach.

COACHING PHILOSOPHY ONE TEAM. We stick together. We support one another. We play together. ONE PLAY. We value each play. We play hard each play. We finish each play. ONE PURPOSE. We focus on the development of each and every player in the organization. No one player is bigger than the team. Each player develops differently and at different times. But we all will develop. No matter what… DEFENSE WINS GAMES We'll play with energy, effort and execution. We won't quit. We'll play as a team. We’ll believe in each other.

PARENTS’ TO-DO LIST Accept your team GroupMe invite, then give a “thumbs up” or leave a comment from time to time so that GroupMe does not auto-delete you for inactivity. Complete the new Prime Family Player Contact and Information Form to update all of your contact information, as well as your daughter’s date of birth, current school, high school graduation year, and clothing/shoe sizes. We will need this information immediately for Registrations and orders Send us a brief Parent Expectations email to TeamPrimeSports@gmail.com. Your responses will help us to understand what is important to each of you regarding your daughter’s development and participation this season. Make your payments on time and participate in fundraisers. Do not talk to coaches immediately before or after a game about the team or your child. Emotions run high and could end up with regrets. Remember to be your child’s, and all of her teammates’, biggest fan and cheerleader. Negativity is cancerous; it will destroy a team, and will not be tolerated. Nothing is guaranteed! Not playing time, nor wins. Everything is earned.

It helps with ordering gear and we’re creating evaluations for each player for High School and College coaches to assist with the recruiting process.

THE PARENT ROLE PLAY HARD Be Patient- Communicate- Be Understanding Positively promote the program through social media. Support our other teams. We are a family! You are the most influential voice representing our program to the public. Please be a good representative of your daughter’s efforts and respectful of their commitment to the TEAM.

THE PARENT ROLE LOVE EACH OTHER Support your daughter’s effort, commitment, and sacrifice. Support her investment in the process and the experience she’s helping create for her teammates more than her basketball accomplishments. Celebrate the effort and contributions of every player. Find ways to serve by helping when needed (scorebook, snacks, etc.).

THE PARENT ROLE LOVE EACH OTHER Studies show that what players want most from their parents is to hear these words: “I am so proud of you.” “I love to watch you play!” Studies also show that a player’s most dreaded time with their parent is the car ride home after a game and the coaching that comes with it.

#FAMILY THE PARENT ROLE Your child’s success or lack of success in sports does not indicate what kind of parent you are. But having an athlete that is coachable, respectful, a great teammate, mentally tough, resilient and tries their best IS a direct reflection of your parenting. THE PARENT ROLE

THE PARENT ROLE DO WHAT WE DO Be a crowd-builder. Bring a friend. Give a ride. We want to create an experience that brings joy to others. We know we have added value to others when we have become theirs and they have become ours. Applaud for all players when they come out of the game

#FAMILY WE ARE PRIME!
