La geographie du monde francophone

Google Images used for photos showing how Christmas is celebrated in the 4 countries concerned.

This project focussed on Festivals and in particular, the celebration of Christmas in the UK and in three very different, French speaking countries. Through the use of language specifically taught for the purpose of this project and a range of different teaching and learning activities (see power point slides above), students were able to develop both their language learning skills and their knowledge and awareness of other countries and cultures. Displays and power point presentations were also produced to demonstrate the similarities and differences in the celebration of Christmas in different parts of the world.
