March 2019 For & Against C1.1 E

It is widely believed that education is very important for our live and for the development of a country. In fact, it sayed that students are the future of our generation; but, should they be auto-sufficient and self-learning? Education is, undoubtedly, one of the pillars of our society. Consequently, future generations should have access to a modern and motivating methodology. Self-acceess to information gives students the freedom to choose what they want or need to learn, however, is student centered learning enough?

Over the last decade young people have been seeing famous people as role models for them, therefore, we have to deal with some consequences, so, which are they? Celebrities have been role models for decades. Movie stars, sportspeople have been endorsing different products going from sports brands to political parties. It goes without saying that this impacts the most vulnerable in our society, kids and teenagers. And yet, one cannot help wonder, is the influece of these “idols” always positive?

Nowadays, quite a lot of people have pets at home and they usually treats them as another relative. But, is it a recommeded behaviour? Nowadays, pets are becoming important members of many families. Owners treat them, not as possessions, but as a loved relative. Is this going too far?

In our days, quite a lot of people have pets in their households and these are often treated as relatives. I will explain my opinion of such a relationship. Nowadays, an increasing number of households have a pet as part of the family unit. Obviously, there are arguments in favour of this but, allow me to share my opinion.

A lot of people have pets in their households and they often treat them as relatives. Pets are the new members of families nowadays. But, is this good or bad for people’s life? Pets are welcomed relatives in many households. They are loved and are invited to participate in family get-togethers. Really? Is it necessary to go this far?

It is widely known that celebrities have a huge impact on the media and, as a consequence, they produce an enormous influence on kids and teenagers. This topic is a very debatable one so there are many different opinions. Unquestionably, celebrities impact our lives through the media but these influencers can leave an overpowering impression on kids and teenagers. Logically, not all impressions are negative but it is an open subject for debate.

Nowadays we live in a society where our kids and teenagers have a lot of celebrities as role models. It is important to analise it is positive or negative because our teenagers will be the future adults. Have you thought about it? Nowadays, kids and teenagers are exposed to the influence of celebrities. Sportspeople, movie stars and even politicians are role models for the younger stratum of society and yet, should we not stop to analyse the effects of this exposure?

Since some years ago, education model is changing Since some years ago, education model is changing. Increasingly, technology and new learning sistems are getting into schools in order to help students to be more self-sufficient but: Over the last two decades, the concept of education has evolved. Technology and new approaches to learning have been introduced in schools so as to make the learning process more effective and successful. Some of these methodologies advocate in favour of giving students freedom to choose how, what and when they need to learn. But, can this not have detrimental consequences for learners?
