Thank you for joining our 5th Annual Chasing Chad Casino Night Gala

Chasing Chad Mission Chad Bordwell Chasing Chad provides support to local brain tumor patients, provides funding for valuable brain cancer research and promotes a healthier lifestyle by striving for and achieving bold fitness goals all in memory of our friend, Chad Bordwell

45 years ago, Chad Bordwell was born

Chad was a loving husband and father of three young girls. He also was a son, brother and friend to many.

Chad was a driven individual, personally and professionally as a Direct Supply General Manager. He was an avid runner, completing 9 marathons, and a sport enthusiast.

9 years ago, Chasing Chad was formed

Chasing Chad is Formed First formed in December 2009 as a group to support and inspire Chad when he was in the hospital. Many friends pledged to complete the equivalent of a marathon (26.2 miles) of physical activity during the month.

Chasing Chad is Formed Chad passed away on December 18, 2009.   Chad asked that we use the enthusiasm and support to help raise money for brain cancer research

In the past 9 years, you’ve helped real people fighting a terrible disease

You helped Ella Ella was in first grade when she was diagnosed with a Craniopharyngioma at Children’s Hospital. Her treatment included proton beam radiation in Boston. YOU paid for her family’s stay at Christopher’s Haven during her 6 weeks of treatment.

You helped Becki Becki was diagnosed with a glioblastoma in November 2013. YOU contributed to a fundraiser created by Becki’s family and friends.

You helped Lindsey YOU helped Lindsey get some much-needed repairs on her car, providing safe transportation to her treatments.

You helped Jahyuni & Layla YOU partnered with Make- A-Wish to make wishes come true for children with brain tumors.

You helped Bill Bill was undergoing chemotherapy and wearing an Optune cap in this picture. YOU paid for his battery pack and a cooling pillow to help him sleep while wearing the cap 18 hours a day. YOU paid his expenses for accessories to this treatment.

You helped Lexie Lexie was diagnosed with a glioblastoma in July 2011. She underwent surgery followed by chemotherapy and radiation. As with most tumors, in August 2014, Lexie’s scheduled scan showed several areas of tumor regrowth. Lexie lost her battle with brain cancer in 2015 at the age of 30. YOU paid some of Lexie’s expenses.

5 years ago, you helped us start this annual event
