What the Exposing DMPs group is doing: We are studying how sharing and publishing (aka exposing) data management plans can potentially benefit researchers, funders, institutions, and a variety of service providers and community organisations including repositories, researchers' umbrella institutions, journals, publishers, and providers of tools for writing and maintaining plans. What we’ve been up to: A needs assessment/survey to gauge user needs and motivations for exposing DMPs as well as perceived risks and undesirable impacts. These survey results from the WG contribute to a better understanding of expectations related to sharing and publishing the content of data management plans.
