Setting This story takes place at Rainas middle school, her house and the dentist office at noon.

Characters Raina is the main character in this story smile. She has brown eyes and brown hair she has problems in life like everyone else.

Plot: conflict In this story Raina has a lot of problems. But her main problem is she knocks her two front teeth out. Another one of her problems is that her friends always treat her badly and makes fun of her.

Plot: Resolution The solution to her problem for her teeth, is that she gets fake teeth and goes to the dentist office for about two years after. The solution to her friend is that she finally tells her that she is tired of them making fun of her and ends up getting real new friends.

Your opinion I thought that the book was very good and is one of my favorite books. Its very interesting too because there is a couple of problems and there is always some thing happening in the book.

When she was in her pre-teen years she suffered a serious mouth injury that required several years of dental and orthodontic surgery. 3. She has been nominated twice for the web cartoonists choice award. 4. This book Smile that I read was all about her. 5. Raina is also known as the illustrator of the baby sitters club comics.
