INTERNATIONAL HUMAN RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT

INTRODUCTION IHRM is the process of employing and developing people in international organizations which operate globally. It means working across national boundaries to formulate and implement resourcing, development, career management and remuneration strategies, policies, and practices applicable to international workforce.

Features of IHRM Right person at right job, irrespective of geographical location. Long term plans for effective alignment of HR strategies with corporate strategies. Development of skills required to work beyond national boundaries. Determination of compensation for host, home and third country nationals on country specific factors.
