VVTA’s Approach to Mobility… …not entirely technology based

Needles Carshare Program Innovative Technological Program Components: Smartphone application based reservations Access via the internet for account management A community based kiosk for those who do not have a smart phone or internet access at home. A $5 an hour rate subsidized by VVTA with a minimum price guarantee to Enterprise The innovative components of this program include: A $5 per hour user rate which is supported by a VVTA subsidy.. A program specific bank card/user payment card for the unbanked. Access to the program via a smartphone application or via the internet. A user kiosk at the facility which hosts the program’s parking. This five dollar an hour rate, with VVTA guarantee provides support from Enterprise Carshare in the form of vehicle insurance, maintenance and cleaning. Key Carshare program statistics: 60 registered users 75% participant utilization Last invoice was $725.44 instead of the full subsidy amount of $2909.26 (25% of the total cost) 872 trips completed Total participant revenue to date: $43,308.32 (Enterprise receives this revenue and deducts it from our invoices)
